Data Storage
Local-First Architecture: LilArmy stores all your notes, cards, and personal data directly in your browser's local storage. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or sync it.

- Your data remains on your device at all times
- We cannot access, read, or analyze your notes
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide and improve our service:
- Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and feature usage to improve the application. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
- Error Reports: If an error occurs, we may collect anonymous error data to help fix bugs and improve stability.
- Browser Information: Basic browser type and version for compatibility purposes.
Sync Features
LilArmy offers optional sync features to keep your data backed up and accessible across devices:
- Google Drive Sync: When enabled, your data is stored in your own Google Drive account under a dedicated LilArmy folder. We do not have access to your Google Drive; the sync happens directly between your browser and Google's servers using your Google account credentials.
- Local Folder Sync: When enabled, your data is synced to a folder on your local device that you choose. This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it.
- Both sync options are entirely optional. LilArmy works fully offline without any sync enabled.
- You control when and where your data is synced at all times.
AI Agent Features
LilArmy includes AI-powered agents (Organizer, Searcher, Linker, Grouper) to help manage your notes. These agents operate as follows:
- AI processing may occur locally on your device when possible
- If cloud-based AI services are used, only the minimum necessary data is transmitted
- We do not store or retain any content sent to AI services
- You can use LilArmy without AI features if you prefer
Cookies and Tracking
We use minimal cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential Cookies: Required for the application to function properly
- Preference Cookies: To remember your settings and preferences
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers
Data Security
We take security seriously:
- Your data is stored locally and protected by your browser's security features
- We use HTTPS encryption for all communications
